The Children’s Literacy Fund
is a federally registered charitable organization founded in 2000
(Charitable Registration #86513 7293- RR0001). The Trust Document outlines our goals as:
1) providing scholarships for deserving students pursuing post-secondary education and
2) supporting Early Literacy programs.
In the short time since its inception, due mainly to public support of our annual golf tournament,
we have been able to distribute in excess of $125,000.00 to provide scholarships for
deserving kids, fund Reading/Early Literacy programs in over 30 needy schools, and
support the efforts of the Canadian Institute of Reading Recovery.
Together, we are truly having a real, positive impact on the education and lives of thousands of great kids at elementary and post-secondary levels.
